Illustrator 2021 rendering issue

Illustrator 2021 is not rendering some gradients properly. I had to revert to Illustrator 2020 in order to view the gradients.

See the screen shot. This does not happen in Illustrator 2020.

Hard to tell what is wrong if we don't see how it looks in 2020.

I see now (was looking at the fishes). 

Does switching to CPU preview make a difference (Cmd or Ctrl E)?
