Illustrator 24.2.1 will not load and open

I just updated from 23.1 to 24.2.1 and when I go to open Illustrator it gives me this message:

"1394689636 Suite AI User Suite Version 12!"

 

Any help for this?  I have to go back and use the earlier version and I get files from other clients saying I'm using an earlier version - I need the latest version that I'm paying for to work!

 

Yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled
