Illustrator 25.1 Export to DXF unusable

Since updating to Illustrator 25.1, the export to DXF has failed to produce a DXF which can later be converted to our laser etching software.  In Illustrator 24.3, exporting artwork to DXF works. In Illustrator 25.1, it does not work.  Even the file size of the DXF's are different.  24.3 = 3.51MB, 25.1 = 3.71MB. Export settings are the same for both (see image).

Doing a text compare of the two DXF's show significan't differences.  

Running on Windows 10, version 1909.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just an update: the problem mentioned above still exists in Illustrator version 25.2
