Hi everybody,

Since this morning, Illustrator 25.2 does not want to open with this message poping up on my screen:

"The localized resource files for this application could not be loaded. please reinstall the application and try again"

After having reinstalled the app (3 times), tried to go back to the former versions, update my OS (I'm now on Big Sur 11.2.1), I don't know what to do... Does someone experience the same issue? Any solution?

Thanks !

Hi Lucas.

Navigate to the following folder:

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

And delete the whole Adobe Illustrator Prefs folder.

Restart Illustrator.

Hi Lucas,

Sorry to hear about your experience. I'd recommend using Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove the existing installation of the Adobe apps & then reinstall. Let us know if it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh
