Illustrator CC not opening - HELP!

I'm having issues with illustrator not opening at all. I have tried to reinstall the latest CC version several times/restarted etc and the Ai icon just bounces a couple of times in my dock and then crashes each time. No sign of the corrupt fonts people have had issues with in the past. It was doing it with an older version of Ai too...Any suggestions?
