Illustrator CC, some files not opening (after update to Illustrator version 25.2.1)

Some files no longer open after updating to Illustrator 25.2.1 on Windows 10.
Reverting to older versions now leaves same issue.
Full uninstall in Windows and re-install still does not resolve the issue.

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.
