Illustrator could partially read this file, but some content might be missing (HELP!)

Hey Adobe community.

I'm having trouble opening up this one file here. It's big...but not that big.

When I space bar preview it I can see the content all all the artboards are definitely in there but when I try and open it, it takes forever for one thing then gives me this message (screen shot attached below). When I hit "OPEN" on the message all the content except 1 of the art boards is just completely gone.

Anybody know how to fix this? I really need to access this file for work!

Which version and system is it?

Where did you save the file?

Do you have a backup? And if not, then why not?
