Hi People!

My Illustrator keeps crashing. Whenever I open the program I get the full program up - with the "what's new" screen there, but from there it just closes. I have removed all my installed fonts just to see if that would help, after that I have also removed my Wacom tablet drivers and disconnected it, I disconnected my mouse, rebooted my computer, removed Illustrator and installed it a bunch of times, but it keeps doing this.

I have an Asus laptop with 8th gen i7 processor - it's only a few months old so still works like a charm. Other programs work just fine without any issues. I tried with Lightroom CC, PS, and Premiere and those all work.

With most recent updates you need to erase the preferences when updating. You can't keep them.

So if you havent already tried: force Illustrator to create new prefs.

Try by renaming the folder as described in here:  https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html

Did you rebuild the preferences when uninstalling/reinstalling?
