Hello

Suddenly today I am experiencing issues with illustrator.

Whats happens:

1. I open illustrator and it loads as normal.

2. I try to open a file, or create a new document.

3. It closes down Illustrator without any warnings.

4.  When I try opening Illustrator again I get a message saying: Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly. Any open document that could be recovered with unsaved information are names <filename>[recovered]. Then the options are OK and Cancel.

What I've tried:

1. Ensuring I have all the latest updates done .

2. Clearing SSD (I had a message suggesting I was low on space so I cleared recyling bin etc).

3. Restarting computer.

Any offer any help?!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS & Illustrator? Do you work on files saved on a network drive or local drive?

I'd suggest following the steps given on this help article and let us know if it helps.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Ashutosh
