Illustrator crashing since last update

hello. Since the update of ai, it keep closing unexpectedly, whenever i move or copy an object/text.

I'm in the other user's boat. I reset the preferences and it was crashing. For my last resort I uninstall of AI and CC and reinstalled CC and AI and fonts etc and it is worse. This started with the most recent update I installed last week.

I've used this before. The only probelm is when I run this suddenly a lot of my linked files end up as Black boxes instead of graphics. This causes almost as much work to re-link things. 

These are workarounds when a program is updated and is not working right. I'd really just like it to work right each time it updates and not cause issues and more work for me.

Try restarting from the CC app directly, not from your desktop.

Sorry about this trouble. We have recently released an update for Illustrator 2021 (v 25.2.3) which contains some stability fixes. If you are not already on v25.2.3, then we recommend you to update to latest version.
