Hi guys,

Recently the "Save for web" dialog doesn't export the selected artboard anymore, but only on a few files - it works fine with others. I've looked into other threads already, there's no ticker for "use artboards", just when I use the "export" option.

Did I mess up some setting in the  preferences section? Does anybody have a clue?

I've been running Illustrator CS4 on Win 10 since quite a while. Yes, it's not supported anymore, no, I don't wish to upgrade.

Thanks!

In CS4 this should be in the tab "Image size" in Save for web dialog.

If you can't find it there, go to Object > Slice > Save artboard

A "life saver"! I don't know how "Clip to Artboard" got unchecked, since I never used this dialogue in Illustrator, but at least this is fixed. Feels like an upgrade! Thanks a lot 🙂
