Illustrator default font corrupted

Hello, my adobe illustrator cannot read default fonts properly all of a suddent. I have tried to uninstall the program and delete all adobe creative cloud apps, and re-install the Illustrator back. But the program still not working properly. I got a garbled set of defautl fonts, and I have working on my projects like this for couple months now. Can someone from the support team help me to resolve this problem?

Thank you Alex, I've tried that but nothing changed. I've also tried to deleted the folder in "<OSDisk>\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator <version number> Settings\en_US*\x64\Adobe Illustrator Prefs". Still can't fix the problem.

Hi Monika, I also try to contact adobe help support team but unfortunatly they cannot assist me on this matter due to my account status. As a graphic design student, my school provids the convenience for all their students with the access to adobe softwares. However, the help centre told me that my personal school email address is not subscripted to adobe, and I would not know the serial number that my school registered with adobe due to privacy issue. So, I'm stuck in between now.

Is there an IT helpdesk at your school?

 

You could try and uninstall and then reinstall Creative Cloud. But if this issue is caused by missing or corrupted fonts on your system, then reinstalling won't help.

You do restart your computer regularly, right?
