Illustrator does not let export

Illustrator doesn't let you export files the first time. I have to close the popup and re-export.

What OS and version and what version of AI are you using?

macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and illustrator 24.1.3

What exactly are you doing step by step?

What kind of document?

Which export exactly?

Which file format?

Where are you saving?

At which point exactly does it fail?

I save the job and want to export it in another format.

- save a copy
- Destination: (example) Desktop
- New folder
- File name.pdf

And up to there I arrive. I have to close the window and do the process again. With any format it happens.

So it's actually saving a PDF that does not work?

Can ou try and in the preferences > File handling & Clipboard turn off the "Save in background", "Export in background" and maybe even "Accelerate saving to network"

It is not only with PDF it is with all formats

Exactly where are you saving your files?

On the second try he saves it. Wherever you save, be it a desktop or an external disk, the same thing happens.
