Illustrator doesnt show homepage

Since I update to the latest version of illustrator, this doesn't show homepage when I open it, its completly blank, also if I open a previous file it doesn't allow me to create a new document not even whit the shorcut CTRL+N or in the toolbar, i trying to restart many times but the problem continues

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of the Illustrator & OS?

Have you tried resetting the preferences? If not, please try that and let us know if it helps.

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.
