Illustrator freezes while saving files.

Memory runs out ONLY on illustrator till the garbage wont save files anymore. I really dont understand why absolutely every single other program will function while illustrator is DRAINING my memory and process speeds, yet illustrator freezes and will no longer allow me to save progess. Good work guys.

All this information will help us understand the issue and assist you accordingly. You may also try resetting the preferences of Illustrator. Please follow the instructions given on this help article and let us know if it helps.

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.

I am having the same issue with Illustrator taking a long time for saves. Very frustrating.

Do you have a printer connected, turned on and set up as the default printer?

If not, please set up a PDF printer. Does it work then?
