Illustrator graph tool: enough is enough, Adobe!

Dear Adobe,

Enough is enough already - do something about the graph/chart tool. This dinosaur tool has been a terrible, antiquated and clunky feature for as long as I can remember, and I've been working in Illustrator for about 15 years.

When can we expect something, anything to be done to this feature to make it at all useful without half a dozen workaround steps in between?

Hard to argue with this one! Chart tool was never what one might call, feature rich.

Apart from the recommendation to complain about it using the uservoice route, I agree that some improvements are long overdue.

"Dinosaur" is a very good term to characterise the current state and quality of Illustrator's chart capabilities. In fact, it is still something that was born about 30 years ago and never really grew up essentially.
