Illustrator has been doing this for a few days - today i'm attempting to edit artbaords (i have 20 in a file, it's a design brochure) I'm simply trying to rearrange the order of the artboards, and it keeps freezing and then 'not responding'. I can't get anything done as it takes it a minute or so to recover. Every time I attempt to use it, it does it again and again. Impossible to get any work done, and i have to submit my work this week.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, made no difference at all.

My tutor created the file, we have to input, if that makes any difference.

Any advice welcome!
