Illustrator lagging on macOS 10.14.6

For the last 2-3 rounds of updates I've noticed that any object with more than about 10 node/anchor points on it causes Illustrator to lag when refreshing screen for changes, or screen lag when trying to move the object around.

No gradients or images masked inside, just vector object.

Is anyone else getting this issue?

my OS: iMac 10.14.6 4ghz Intel i7 processor, 24gig RAM

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of the OS?

I'd request disabling the GPU Performance under Preferences > GPU Performance and see if it improves the performance.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Ashutosh

I've been disabling the GPU Performance on and off for 6months and it doesn't help.

I already listed my OS version in my first comment:

my OS: iMac 10.14.6 4ghz Intel i7 processor, 24gig RAM
