Windows 8 and in any Document I open. Newly created or one once been working in. Restarted today. Illustrator CC is up to date

System update or Illustrator update?

If the latter - did you migrate the preferences? In many cases this caused issues.

Hi Nikki,

We are sorry to hear about that. I hope the issue is solved by now. If not, I would suggest you to remove preferences folders manually and check if that helps:

  • Close all Adobe applications.
  • Go to Locations C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe and.
  • Delete or rename Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Illustrator 22 Settings folders.
  • Launch Illustrator from the Creative Cloud
