Hi.

I'm using the rectangular grid and live paint tools technique to create pixel art. I seem to have made an error somewhere and can't seem to figure it out. followed the tutorials correctly but it's the same outcome with lines inbetween the pixels after I've ungrouped, expanded live paint and divided in pathfinder.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Using Divide after Expanding Live Paint doesn't make a lot of sense. Should be "Merge" instead.

Make sure your "pixels" align to the pixelgrid; the X/Y coordinates must not contain fractional pixel values when measured from the upper left.

Also make sure that your "pixels" have a width and height that does not contain fractional pixel values.

Not sure what you mean by "Pixel Art".  Illustrator is a vector based drawing program.  Would love to see what you are attempting to do.
