Illustrator prioritizing Integrated Graphics Card

So I am having an issue where Illustrator for some reasons priortizes the integrated graphics card over my gpu.

My CPU is a: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz

The card that came with it is an Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630

My GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070

The problem is that the drivers with the integrated card are not compatible/too weak. I've obviously tried to go in the Nvidia settings and have the global and program settings prioritize the nvidia card. In Illustrator, when I go to Performance within Preferences, it recognizes both cards, but still only uses the Intel card.

If anyone has a solution to this problem, it would very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Also I did try going back to earlier versions with the same issues and there was no updates for any drivers or anything like that.
