Illustrator showing blank window in macOS

Hello everyone! im currently trying to use illustrator and this happened. it doesnt show the main screen where you create new documents or see any of your previous documents and ive already tried clicking up in the top where it says file>new and that wont work either. ive also uninstalled the app and installed it again and that did not work either. can someone please help me.

What happens if you go to Window -> Workspaces -> and then reset the one you use? or choose another one?
