When I tried to update Illustrator to the latest version, I get the following error:

Exit Code: 145

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

- 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 1 warnings(s)

FATAL: Error (Code = 145) executing in command 'MoveDirectoryCommand' for package: 'AdobeIllustrator23-Core', version:23.0.2.567

FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: AdobeIllustrator23-Core Version: 23.0.2.567). Error code: '145'

WARN: Target directory already exists: 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2019\Support Files\Contents\Windows'

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How can I fix this problem?

Thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry about this issue. I would request if you can try these steps: Resolve Error Code 146 or 147 encountered while installing Adobe Creative Cloud apps and let us know if that helps.

Regards,

I have the same problem. I make it work by rebooting after I get the fail message. Then I open Cloud and click update again and it updates successfully. I know it's not a true fix, but it works.
