Illustrator V25 Type Tool not working and only save documents in PDF not AI

After updating the illustrator from version 24.3 to version 25, 25.01 or 25.1 the type tool does not work, but if I open a file with text boxes I can change the text.
Illustrator only save PDF format if saving them in AI format gives an error.

System: Windows 10

Did you reset the preferences when upating? This is usually necessary. https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html

As for the saving, can you try and disable "Save in background" in the preferences?

Disabled "Save in background" in the preferences? It Woks now, but de Type Text with "reset the preferences" still not working

when I select the Type Tool and drawing a new text box, the sample text does not appear and the system crashes

Sorry to hear about your experience. Please make sure you have Windows 10 updated to the latest version.

Is Type tool not working while editing a specific document? Are you trying to save on a network location or local?

I Run the illustrator in safe mode, the diagnostic teste 2 it has a error loading plugins: UxExtension.aip

Problem solved
I changed the font that appears by default in Illustrator (Myriad Pro) to another one before using the Type tool
Now it's OK
