Illustrator won't open - ScriptingSupport Plug-in issue

Hi! Has anyone gotten this message before? I'm not sure how to fix this issue. I am on the most recent update of Illustrator 2021.

Hi! I'm not sure how to even update the plugin or find where it is in the troubleshooting tips. The youtube videos I found were all for a microsoft computer, not an apple, so no help there. Do you happen to know how to check for updates on plugins for adobe apps? I looked in this window but didn't see anything and when I go to Help --> Updates, nothing happens, no windows come up.
