Image Trace Shifts Image to the bottom right

Hey Hive Mind - 

I've seen some posts on this but not recently - any fixes for how Image Trace shifts the image to the bottom right slightly? I need perfect alignment of lines and image for a diecut project and this is very frustrating. Any tips would be appreciated!

It's due to how the tracing works and there's nothing that you can do about it.

It has become better in more recent versions. If that is not sufficient for you, then all you can do is issue a bug report.

Autotrace is never "perfect". If you want a perfect result, then it might be a better idea to trace manually.
