Imported text doesn’t work when file is sent to someone who doesn’t have that text font.

How can a solve this problem? I downloaded a ttif file and imported it to create a font, but when sending it over to someone to get it printed the text defaults to an illustrator font but I need it to stay as the ttif file. Can anyone help me

Save your file as a PDF, and tell the person who will print to to open it in Adobe Acrobat.
