Steps to reproduce
Expected Result:
5 objects are moved horizontally so there is equal spacing between each object (horizontal distribution)
Actual Result:
5 objects seem to converge partially to a key object
Continued Steps:
4. Undo incorrect distribution (5 objects still selected)
5. Double check that objects will align to selection
6. Select Align Objects to Horizontal Center
Expected Result:
5 objects should overlap and align to all centerpoints of the object
Actual Result:
5 objects…well look at the video, 4 objects align, the 5th object is pushed out the right by an arbitrary amount. Subsequent clicking of align to horizontal center push the 5th object further out to the right.
No objects were locked, but the 5th object is acting as if it is partially locked. Help, this is a basic drawing tool feature.

Did you reset the preferences after updating to the latest version?
Also: you will need to set the "Align to" tothe bounding box once. And then it should work correctly.

@monika - genius suggestion, did not fix my problem per se, but I was able to identify which vector group is not behaving correctly - appreciate the suggestion! Thanks.

Im getting this problem with the new udpate. Distribute is broken. When I want to distribute evenly, it groups all the vector shapes together. All other align tools are working correctly however. When
