Our design team and writers have recently trialed using InCopy with InDesign it saved both our teams so much time, but we also create a lot of assets which are charts-and-illustration-heavy in Illustrator, that also have a lot of copy. So I'm wondering if there's a way to use InCopy with Illustrator?

If not, is there an alternative other than InCopy that works with Illustrator?

There are plugins that you can use to integrate databased works into Illustrator such as CopyFlow Gold.
