Hi,

When I apply Envelope distort > make with top object, sometimes the image doesn't fit correctly and it generates new anchor points in the object path. Any idea about how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

A mesh always has 4 corners.

What you should do:

Add an anchor point somewhere on the path.

Select the 4 existing corners with the direct selection tool.

Object > GRadient mesh > Make

Then select the generated mesh and the image you want to distort and use the Make with top object command
