Keep getting Windows blue screen upon starting Illustrator 25.2.1

An error message pops up when starting up alterting that colour managment settings cannt be restored. Then as soon as the illustrator home page opens the windows blue screen appears and forces a restart. 

This is the only Adobe app which this is happening to

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Please follow the instructions below:
1- Quit Adobe Illustrator and all the other Adobe apps.
2- Go to ~/Library/Caches/Adobe/Color and ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Color.
3- Remove the color caches files from the given locations.
4- Open Adobe Illustrator and go to Edit>color Settings and change the color settings to required colors space.

I'm experiencing the same problem as Russell. I've already tried to follow the instructions you posted but with no avail.

I erased all the cache from adobe as the route you gave wasn't the exact for my equipment.

I've also installed and uninstalled the latest and older version of Illustrator and both of them give the same error message and then force a restart.

This started a few hours ago, and still can't find a solution.

Unfortunately this has not worked for me either. I too tried uninstalling and installing an older version and the beta version but the same problem occurred

Apologies for the delayed response. Please try disabling the GPU Performance Under Preferences > Performance after launching Adobe Illustrator. Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi Ashutosh 

i've sorted this just now as I read another post with the same issue. I have removed the latest Windows update as that appears to clash with the programme and this has fixed it
