Keeps Shutting Down

Everytime we open the illustarot applicaiton and try to create a new artbaord the program just closes. We have updated the illustrator (monthly subscription) and also have updated the creatove cloud app. Is there anyting else we should be doing. I have alos restarted the computer numerious times

You create  a new file? Or a new artboard in an existing file?

Have you already tried resetting the preferences? Rename the folder so you can revert it if it doesn't help. https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html
