Hello,
When I save the Illustrator file with large-scaled artwork as PDF using Compatibility set to higher than Acrobat 6 (PDF 1.5) the file still gets scaled down 10 times. Currently I have up to date version of Acrobat, and it still displays the file as 10 times smaller (according to Illustrator support page, Acrobat 1.6 or higher should display the file correctly).
I am aware of the problem with saving large-scaled artwork at PDF 1.5 or lower, but the solution posted on large-scaled artwork support page doesn't fix it.
Versions of software that I use:
Illustrator: 24.3
Acrobat: 2020.012.20043
OS: macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G103)
Bart,
It may be worth asking in the Acrobat forum,
https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/bd-p/acrobat
or to add the question here,
I have tried to alert an Adobe staff friend about this.

Then why don't you save PDF 1.6?

I did save as PDF 1.6 and it still does not fix the problem.

And Acrobat doesn't show the correct scaling information? Can you please show a screenshot of what you are referring to?

So here is the size of the artboard of the test file:
After that I exported the file using Acrobat 8:
And here is the final size of the artwork, as viewed in the Acrobat Preflight:
So the final size of the artwork is not 10000x2000mm, but as You can see, after export it is 1000x200mm.
I also noticed, that "Page scaling factor (UserUnits)" is set to 10.0.
Other software that we use to print on large format seems to confirm that the file is scaled down 10 times, so it might not be an issue with Acrobat.

For reference, here is another test file that I created, that is small-scaled version, of the above.
Artboard size (1000x200mm):
Settings used to export the file to PDF:
And this is what I can see in the Acrobat Preflight:
This time the size of exported PDF is correct.

I see the scale factor in the preflight, but the Page Boxes show the correct dimensions.
And the document properties as well (more or less; 999,885 cm x 199,977 cm)
