layers from illustrator to photoshop

I export a file with 1 artboard to psd saving the layers but the photoshop doesn't open with the layers.

Do the objects in the Layers employ Blend Modes other than »Normal« and Transparency other than 100% (including Effects)? 

Could you provide the file?

Are you choosing File > Export As. Also do you have Write Layers and Maximum editability checked?
