These gray lines showes after applying mapping on the 3D circle object, how do i remove them?
The stroke should be none and in some cases you may need to change its angle slightly.
There's no stroke, and I changed the angle a lot but the lines still shows.
If you don't mind, can you share the document with me?
Youcan't remove them.
When you go into outline view, youwill see that they are the shapes that the effect created.
Did you apply a gradient as a map to that 3D object? In that case it gets converted to a pixel image and then along the edges there is antialiasing. There is antialiasing in all 3D objects, but a pixel image as a map makes it pop out even more.
Yes, i did used a gradient as a map.
I saw a project on behance using a gradient on 3D object and there where no such lines.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
Are you sure the other artist used Illustrator's 3D effect?
