Hello,

I have a finished file for a children's book that I'm trying to upload to amazon self publishing and that team is saying there are still transparencies that need flattened. I have printed to pdf as well as gone onto the illustrator file and gone to layers and flatten. Nothing seems to work. Are there any other suggestions of what I might try?

thank you!

To flatten transparency you could try and save to PDF/X-1 or X-3

Or use Object > Flatten transparency.

You should always do this kind of operation to a copy of the file, because it will ruin editing capabilities.
