Hi,

I am new to the illustrator and trying to convert a png file obtained using matlab into DWG file. I am using the "Make and expand" feature after opening the png file. It seems that the structure breaks randomly after the operation. Is there a way to fix it?

Figures are attached here.

Please don't attach images. Embed them in your post.

"Make and expand" is not a feature. What you are doing is autotrace the image with the Image Trace function. Autotrace won't give you decent results with that intricate detail in your image. You will get adequate results when using the pen tool to draw your image. Does Matlab not export vector artwork?
