Good morning,

I ask if Illustrator gives the same possibility as InDesign,
To combine two colors together as per the image that I attach.

It is used by the hot gold printer to be able to register,
A film with a trace of die and gold.

I use the following way:

From Illustrator I create a separate PDF,
Then I always edit the gold pdf in the illustrator
Together with the die, then I recreate another pdf,
Which I will use to make films.

(Buongiorno,

No, I don't think you can.

You can place the PDF into InDesign where you can map colors using the Ink Manager and export to a new PDF, or you can use an Acrobat Preflight Profile to map or re-name spot colors. (duplicate an existing profile to make your own custom profile), if you do this a lot, you can add the profile to an Acrobat action using the Action Wizard.

Alternately, you can use separate Illustrator layers for the dieline, Gold and image.
