Metadata title is replaced by file name in .AI files

There's a bug that makes Illustrator delete the document title in the file info and replace it with the file name. This seemed to happen randomly in CS6 and in CC it happens every single time I save an .AI file.

Could there be a faulty setting in some config file causing this? Any programming expert who knows where to look for metadata/iptc/xmp config files?

Feels like an issue that should be super easy to fix for Adobe.

Yes, it's a known bug and it has been reported quite often.

You may report it at the Uservoice section as well.

Yeah, I found a post on Uservoice about it. Unfortunately it only had 5 votes... it's fascinating how there must be tens of thousands of annoyed users in the world and only a handful take the time to report bugs and do something about all the flaws and bugs.
