Missing plug in

My adobe illustrator is missing FlattenTransparenctUI.aip plug-in. 

TONS of features do not work anymore. I cant resize anything with the select tool. I cant insert PNGs. I cant drag anything out of AI into PS. I cant use the color eyedropper took. The list goes on. PLEASE HELP.

Sounds like it may be time to reinstall AI. Have you updated your OS recently?
