When I use my arrow keys on a Mac for moving objects in Adobe Illustrator cc 2018, they move too far. What must I do in order to have control on how far the objects will move on the canvas?
Thanks
It's in General.
Keyboard Increment.
Set it to whatever you need. I don't know your artwork or your needs.

What do you recommend me setting it to?
I'm still trying to find it. Is it under the Selection and Anchor Display?

I could always click the X or Y box with my Control Key and select the arrows. That only moves the objects by 1 pixel at a time.

If you want to change the nudge increments often, there's a free plug in that saves visiting the buried preferences.
Here you can set the 3 distances as you please from the little window
Using the arrow keys on a keyboard to move, finely position and step an artwork object(s) is a common task. Normally buried in Illustrator's extensive Preference UI, DirectPrefs makes the distance setting for this operation immediately available.
With three user-definable presets for each document unit of measurement (millimetres, inches, pixels, etc.), you can switch regularly to ensure that each object is easily positioned just-so!
Download their unified installer and select the installation option, maybe deselect most of the other paid plugins so you can try them, one at at time in the future

Thank you for the information. I will give it a try.
