Hi hi!

I'm trying to add a darker drop shadow to my letters, the mode is on overlay and the colour is on black.

However, the shadow becomes white instead of a darker colour.. Any way to fix this? 😕

Have you tried some of the other Blend methods, like Lighten?

I have, but it stays white with every option I choose.

I also tried adding a outer glow and this didn't work either...

Especially if you haven't done so for days.

Restarts just clean everything up.

That would be the next thing to try. Can you create a new file, make two objects and apply a drop shadow. Does that work?

Just in case anyone else has this issue and is looking for a solution, I did and it was because the layer had "dim images set to 50%," something you could try checking.
