Need help creating dynamic text outlines similar to this image

Hey AI community,

I need help understanding a way to get a graphic similar to this "common" text that is dynamic. Meaning, when I edit the center "common" text it updates the 4 shadow images with the same word. Anyone have any idea how accomplish this?

Select the text object with the selection tool

In the appearance panel create an additional stroke

Apply 2 transform effects tothe stroke like this:
