Hey Guys,
I have been a life long photoshop artist but am trying to slowly play around with Illustrator to get the feel of it. For me I have a very keen sense for small detail. My biggest question is how do you SEE what size thickness your brush is. Example, in photoshop I can I can usually at the top of the screen see what size my brush is but in Illustartor have no idea where I can see that. I see the stroke weight but that doesn't tell me what size my thickness is. I just want to have a consistent brush lines.
Thank you so much for your help
(In the picture below shows how in photoshop I can see how big my brush is)
Determining the size of the brush depends on which kind of brush you're using. Calligraphic brushes and Bristle brushes have a brush size that is the diameter of the brush. The size of Scatter brushes, Art Brushes, and Pattern Brushes are determined by the size of the objects that make them and can be scaled within their options.
