New version won't open on my computer

Hi!

I recently updated my OS on my macbook pro and then installed the newest version of illustrator (.25) but when I try to open it nothing happens. No error message or nothing. What can I do to solve this please?

I have downloaded the older version for now but it keeps crashing when I save so this is not a solution either.

I uninstalled both versions and then restarted the computer, then installed only the new version and restarted the computer again and then it worked! 🙂
