Not able to resize text boxes in Adobe Illustrator

I cant see the corner arrows to drag the text anywhere. I have to delete the boy and redo it all over again. Help anyone?

Which version, which system?

Can you please post screenshots and tell us all the details about your text boxes?

Also: is that a non-latin language? Special font?
