Unable to Scale Object in Illustrator

Hello, 

It seems that i can't change the object in illustrator, with That i mean i can't make it smaller not bigger. Beforehand i've never had a Problem with that. I Hope that you can help me with that.

Does it help when you turn on View > Show Bounding box?

So, is this issue ever going to be soived?  I'm still unable to scale certain objects in Illustrator for whatever reason.  I still continue to receive "unknown error" messages, and then, the images turn into white boxes.  I searched the link, and none of these details pertain to me. I'm using an M1 Mac with 16 gigs of ram, preformance should not be an issue with me.  I even reinstalled Illustrator, and I'm still having this problem.

• The exact version of macOS & Illustrator
• Screenshot of the unknown error and image after & before for comparison
• Are you getting this error in a specific file? If yes, please share the download link to the file here or via DM. I will take a look at it.
• Do you recall the version of Illustrator in which the file was created?
