Older version of Illustrator - can't activate

I am having to put my old software onto a new computer and can't activate the software since they have changed how they do it (no longer through phone call or old internet site) and I no longer have access to the original email address (where they want to send me a link to update my password) that I orginally registered with Adobe.  Any suggestions on how to activate?
