On some Mac's extension are not working

Hello,

Our plugin (www.datylon.com) is not working on some of the machines of one of our customers. 

After a lot of back and forth (we cannot reproduce it), it seems that on those machine (angular) html extension are not working at all.

We tried lot's of things but are not really closing in on the inssue and are running out of inspiration.

The extension is installed. It's visible in the windows/extension menu. Whenever it's selected an empty window is diplayed. Log files we found do not reveal anything. This also happens with a basic angular demo without any of our code.

We also added logging to a hardcoded path as one of the very first steps when the extension starts, but the log file is not created. We checked file permissions and that should be ok.

Has anyone seen this before? Any tips on how to get closer to the cause of this issue?
