I'm trying to open/place jpeg file (photo recieved by e-mail) into Illustrator (most updated one); however, it's not opening in any ways. Tried dragging, open..., place..., all.
Did you try to place any other image? What is the size of image that you are trying to place. Without more details it will be difficult to tell the reason. Did you get any alert mesage. Is image downloaded correctly from the email.
May be answers to these questions give a path to help you.
Sorry to hear about your experience. In addition to the answers to questions asked by Charu, I'd request a couple more details like the version of OS and Illustrator.
You may share screenshots or a small video of the process you are following to get the images in Illustrator. All this information will help us understand your issue better and respond accordingly. Looking forward to your response.
